The Boojum Tree created such a beautiful color palette of deep red and orange hues, which worked wonderfully with Juliana's outfit choice. For Juliana's mini shoot, we took a few minutes to scout what specific locations within the venue we wanted to use. I loved the framing archways and organ cactus right outside the venue gates, so we focused the rest of our 30 minutes on those locations. She has a beautiful, thoughtful look, and subtle smile. It was so much fun working with Juliana!
Kristi needed some new promo pictures as a freelance clarinetist, so we headed to the Boojum Tree for a quick 30 minute shoot. The colors, florals and greenery of the venue looked great with Kristi's patterned dress!
Last weekend, I got to photograph three beautiful women at The Boojum Tree- a venue in Phoenix that is often used for events and weddings. It looks like an enchanted garden, and is filled with rustic décor and bright greenery. Just outside the venue sits an old truck, with the most beautiful blue color, still faintly painted on. A few days before this shoot, I purchased a Canon 6d- finally upgrading my camera body! I was so excited to shoot with it. I am in LOVE with the colors and quality of this camera. Jamaica is a make-up artist and hair stylist- which shines through in her beautiful luminous eye shadow! I only had about 15 minutes to shoot with Jamaica, but I think we created some beautiful images together!
